Retaining nurses is becoming difficult, but what about the necessity for the PAX exam for entry. Many students have gone through most of their education only to fail the exam and not get excepted into nursing school, how can nursing educators change this or assist these students? A lot of emphasis these days has been put on diversity, learning disabilities, anxiety with test taking and finding ways to retain and sustain their enthusiasm, how can this be done only to be told they can’t pass they can’t get in?
