The person submitting the complaint states that that person or the person’s child (if you wish to have the person complaining being the parent or legal guardian) has not been provided appropriate therapy from the SLP. The person complaining states that the client was seen in a group of four people. The person for whom the complaint is submitted is a female while the other three were males. The person submitting the complaint states that in contacting the SLP about why the SLP was not providing equal therapy to the person (or child), the SLP stated that “it is most important to improve the language deficits of the boys in the group because they have more at stake in their jobs (or schoolwork) than the client (or child).
