Unclear roles and responsibilities can make team members unsure of what they are an are not responsible for. A lack of trust can discourage members from being vulnerable, voicing their opinions and ideas and stifle collaboration. The diversity of each team member may not be valued, which decreases the amount of creative ideas and perspectives from members, which decreases the quantity and quality of results. Â
