Her friends state that they had all been drinking since early afternoon and that 30 minutes ago, Sally had suddenly become very irritable and angry just before passing out. One of her friends knew she was diabetic. Her vital signs are: T 36.6, HR 90, RR 16, BP 122/64, sats 95% in room air. On assessment, Sally’s breath sounds are clear and breathing is unlabored.
