This is the first submission for this project. Please select an alteration in health (disease) that you would like to work on. Be sure to select a disease that has enough information and depth to meet the project requirements. Some examples of topics that you may consider are celiac disease, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease (hyperlipidemia). You can choose any disease that has a nutritional component — nutrition or diet can prevent or treat the disease or greatly affects the outcome.
