Ms. O’ Reilly uses both Novolog and Tresiba. What is the reason for this? Question 14 options: Her diabetes is in poor control and she needs more than one kind of insulin. Using 2 kinds of insulin allows a client to use less of each kind. Tresiba is a short acting insulin and Novolog is a long acting insulin. Tresiba is long term and acts as a basal regulator and Novolog is short term and is dosed at meal time and for corrections.
